Dr. Bill Burnham

Dr. William Burnham was called here to pastor of Tanglewood Community Church in October of 2016. He has 40 years of ministry experience as a pastor, teacher, author, speaker, and spiritual leader, having done pastoral ministry in New York, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. Before coming to us here in Sebring, pastor Burnham served at his last church, a non-denominational church in Atlanta, Georgia for twenty -one years.
Dr. Burnham earned his undergraduate college, seminary degrees from Leavell College, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and His Graduate degrees, a Master’s degree in theological studies and PhD with a focus on communication and leadership development, from Louisiana Baptist University.
Dr. Burnham is a native of Rochester, New York where he was born and raised. But most recently before coming to Sebring, Florida, he called Georgia home for the last thirty-one years. Dr. Burnham and his wife Cheryl of thirty-five years, have three children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Dr. Burnham, or “Pastor Bill” as he is known to friends, is an author of thirteen books, two Bible commentaries and eight Bible studies. He loves being a pastor, Bible teacher, and teaching pastor’s conferences, and of course, his Georgia Bulldogs! He is a sports fan and enjoys playing golf, the outdoors, water volleyball, pétanque, physical fitness, and the beach.
